Arturo Ortega Sr.

Arturo Ortega Sr. passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 72.
Visitation is from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Sunday,April 25, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Celebration of Life: 3:00 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2021 at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
Arturo Ortega was born December 28, 1948 to the late Francisca Torres and Rafael Ortega in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He met his beautiful wife and they shared 49 years of marriage and had 3 sons. He worked at Ferrocarriles in Mexico for 20 years and later at Trinity Industries for 15 years until he retired. Arturo enjoyed working on cars, barbecues, and dancing Cumbias, however his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family and grandkids. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and forever will be in their hearts.
Survivors: Wife, Blanca Ortega; sons, Antulio Ortega, Arturo Ortega Jr., Abner Ortega and Francisco Rafael Santos; brother, Jose Reyes; sister, Adela Ortega; grandson, Arturo Ortega III,; grandson, Frankie Santos; grandaughter, Alicia Ortega; grandson, Adam Ortega; grandson, Abner Ortega Jr.; great grandsons, Lucas Rafael Santos and Theo Francisco Santos and many friends.
