HASLET-Brianna Gray-Eskue passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: To be announced
Brianna was born to the late Bruce Gray and Lucille Byllott on December 14, 1958 in Portland, Oregon. She was a clerk for the Constable Collin Smith in Hunt County. She also worked for Radio Shack and HCA Healthcare. Brianna was a wife to one. The ex doesn’t count and a loyal hard friend to many. God didn’t break the mold when he made her. He just doesn’t cast it that often. She was special. She was a kitchen witch, a bee keeper, master gardener, amateur herbalist. and general mess maker. She called it clutter and I have a mess to clean up but it was her mess and I’ll take my time doing it. I was asked what my fondest memories were. My fondest memories were everything I can recollect. Life in general. In the end, if I’m lucky ,very lucky, I’ll run into her soul again one day.

Bree, you have always been an amazing support in our lives. When we first met, you welcomed me into the family. You made the effort to be there for our wedding, and have been with us through the ups and downs of life. Will never forget you sis! Scotty, take your time. Bree sent me a link a few years ago that said that we don’t move on from grief, we just move forward.

David, I have only just become aware of Bree’s passing on. I worked with her on numerous occasions in the Denton County Master Gardener Association, and want you to know that she was a real gift for us. We enjoyed her enthusiasm and happiness at whatever happened to come up. It is hard for me to imagine the loss you are feeling, and I wish you strength and joy in knowing you will indeed come across her soul again.

I was a member of the interview committee when Bree applied to join the Denton Co. Master Gardener Association, and she immediately impressed us with her enthusiasm and desire to learn more about all things gardening. She also made an impact by wearing her bib overalls, with which we came to know her by! Bree was a valued member of our organization, and we will miss her. With sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
