I’m sad that my uncle Calvin is gone. I’m a better person because of him.
He taught me how to ride a motorcycle on a vacation trip to Colorado with my brother Dale and cousins Ted and Floyd.
“ First one to jump in the river gets to ride the bike!” We ran and jumped in that raging Colorado river. It was so cold it hurt and swept us away down stream. After we dried out and warmed up we all rode that little moterbike. Aunt Mary and aunt Bobbie sure had their hands full on that trip!
I will miss uncle Calvin, he always made us kids happy to do work for some kind of fun treat.
