IRVING-Carlos Matthew Gonzales Garcia III passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the age of 39.

Carlos was born Sunday, August 10, 1980 to Carlos Garcia, Jr. and Irene Lucille Garcia in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Carlos had a love for the Star Wars Trilogy, UFC, and comic book heroes. He enjoyed making memories with his mother, sister, nieces, and nephew. He was very witty, always making jokes and making people laugh. Carlos was a fan of the Star Wars Trilogy. His hobby included collected memorabilia of his favorite character Darth Vader and other comic book heroes. He enjoyed playing video games on his Play Station and exchanging them with his nephew Joseph Mendez, Jr. His all-time favorite game was Mortal Kombat. He also enjoyed long walks and taking pictures with his dog, Diesel.
Carlos is preceded in death by his grandparents, Miguel and Beatriz Borjas-Gonzales; and Carlos, Sr and Olivia Garcia; Aunt Aurora Alaniz; Uncle Lupe and Aunt Victoria Alaniz; Uncle Jessie and Aunt Josephine Rodriguez; and Aunt Angelita Hernandez; and Aunt Sylvia Garcia.
Survivors: Parents, Carlos Garcia Jr. and Irene Lucille Garcia; sister, Michelle Lee Garcia; half brother, Eric Garcia; half brother, Michael Hinojosa; nieces, Destiny Irene Marie Mendez and Rosie Aurora Mendez; nephew, Joseph Lee Mendez Jr. uncle, Manuel Alaniz and family; aunt, Isabel Mendez and family; aunt and uncle, Santos and Rosie Gonzales and family; aunt and uncle, Miguel and Susie Gonzales and family; aunt and uncle, Roman and Lydia Gonzales and family; uncle, Pedro Hernandez and family; uncle, Orlando Garcia, uncle, Rudy Garcia; aunt, Carmen Montoya and family; and 36 cousins and many friends.

Carlos, Mingo and I met you a few times and in February you met our daughter Mia. When I told her of your passing she remembered your fondly. You were the guy with all the movie knowledge and who she found funny. You left a lasting impression on our family that we will never forget. Rest Easy Carlos!

Carlos..such a good friend and as tuff as he wanted everyone to see he had such a soft side of him as well. Carlos would help anyone and would keep his word. Carlos love to share his times he spent with his niece and nephew and how he enjoyed spoiling them. He loved his family. Carlos will be missed.
