Carolene Montgomery Thomason Stewart

FORT WORTH–Carolene Montgomery Thomason Stewart passed away Friday, October 13, 2017 at the age of 89.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Interment: Carolene will be laid to rest in Hawkins Cemetery in Arlington with an extended celebration of her life to follow with refreshments at Jackie Gerhardt’s house.
Carolene was born September 18, 1928 in Jack County, Texas to the late Sye and Mary Montgomery. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Son, Jim Thomason and wife, Rosie; daughters, Casey Lester and husband, Ronnie, Jackie Gerhardt and husband, Calvin, Annecia Thomason, Tina Thomason and Beckey Sue Jernigan; sisters, Bobby Barnes and Geneva Krug and husband, Merle; 20 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
