WEATHERFORD-Chad Morrison passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at the age of 48.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 11 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 at The Church at Benbrook, 930 Winscott Road, Benbrook, Texas 76126
Chad was born Sunday, March 11, 1973 to Ronald and Rita Morrison in Wichita Falls, Texas. He attended and graduated from Western Hills High School. Chad was saved and baptized at the First Calvary Baptist Church in Sanderson, Texas. He was a member of The Church at Benbrook where he attended the men’s group and church on Sundays. He had a huge love for the Lord and the Lord’s work. Chad was happiest with a guitar in his lap, surrounded by friends and family. He loved spending time with his kids and grandbabies. He liked to fish until he wasn’t catching anything, then he’d just enjoy being by the water with a cold beer. He often talked about spending his younger years at his Grandpa Bob’s lake house on Possum Kingdom. Chad was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Chad is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Morrison; and grandparents, Bob and Jean Wright.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 25 years, Lisa Morrison; son, Tommy Morrison and wife, Kaitlyn; daughter, Cassey Morrison and spouse, Sean Bargo; father, Ronald Morrison and wife, Rhonda; step sister, Allison Hudnall; granddaughters, Kennedy and Josie Morrison; numerous extended family members and friends.

Uncle Ronald,
My heart aches to hear Chad has traveled on. I am blessed with the memories of our youth. We were silly, playful and happy. I am wishing Chad’s family peace, comfort, courage and lots of love. He will be missed.

I was just getting to know Chad. I really loved his songs and could tell he had a good heart. Condolences to all that will miss him.
