Aunt Tiny… I cannot think back into my memories as a young man without factoring her in… she was integral to so many. I will forever remember her infectious laugh, her kindness, and friendship. She had one foot in the home being a mother, a wife and a breadwinner… all the while having another in the younger generation of nieces and nephews impish antics as they transcended from adolescence to majority… My uncle Roy married her at 16 and stole her youth….I still remember she learned Spanish quickly in self defense. My Tio Chico always loved her which I think made his other daughter’s jealous and made her day everytime… LOL!
Godspeed on your journey to a better life Tia… vaya con Dios … we will remember you fondly.
