HURST- Cleva Fay Taylor went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the age of 78.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 6 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Compass Christian Church, 2600 Hall Johnson Rd. Colleyville, Texas.
Cleva was born Thursday, April 22, 1943 to the late Josephine Affleck and Jack Cotant in Hurst, Texas. She graduated from Northside High School in 1962. She was always a helper and did everything with a smile and loved being a part of her friends’ lives. She loved going to church, taking care of family, playing games on her phone and shopping with her husband, Jerry. She worked a lot of her life to take care of her family. At the age of twelve, she began working at a drug store and also worked for Bank of America for thirteen years as an administrative assistant. Cleva belonged to Compass Christian Church and was also a member of Faith Works with her Sunday school group.
Cleva was a loving wife, mother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
Cleva is preceded in death by her parents.
SURVIVORS: Loving husband of 54 years, Jerry Taylor; son, Michael Taylor; and numerous friends.

Cleva was a nice and loving family friend. She will always be remembered. Our deepest sympathy to the whole family of Cleva. Sending prayers for her beloved soul. May she rest in peace.

My favorite memory of Cleva is the joy she brought to our neighborhood. She always had a smile and kind word to say and was a friend to everyone. I will miss her very much. My deepest condolences to the Taylor family.
