I am so sorry to hear Clint is gone! I am hoping that Lenny, NayNay, Cody, and the rest of the family find solace in the fact that he is no longer in pain. His talent will be missed by the rest of the world, but the hole that he leaves in the hearts of his family, I’m sure will never be filled. He is a tribute to his parents, and my heart breaks for them, especially. God bless you…and please know that you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

You will forever be loved and forever be missed but remembered for all of the amazing things you have done in this world. You never judged, you never turned your cheek, you never broke hearts. Your hard work and legacy were gracefully achieved. You are everywhere!! In our hearts, in our souls, in our minds, and permanently marked on many of our bodies as a constant reminder that we were blessed by your touch. The world could not have asked for a better person to walk it. I personally could not have ever asked for a better friend. Your smile will never leave my mind and my heart. Thank you for loving all of us as much as we loved you. You have reached your paradise and we will all join you again one day. Save us a spot in that big Bronco Arena in the sky. I love you and will forever cherish our friendship. You are truly the BEST.

#57 Comment By Judy Gebhart On December 24, 2016 @ 10:17 pm

This really broke my heart as I sure was hoping & a praying that he would win the fight against cancer. He is a champion anyways in my book! I looked up to him with his artistry. I had the luxury of meeting him in Las Vegas at a Tattoo Convention a few years back after he was on Ink Masters. I was able to watch him tattoo. I loved his charisma and that smile! He is definitely the first person that has ever made me turn fire engine red blushing & trip over my own two feet without picking on me with just a simple “hello” and smile with a wink. But he seemed to always bring the best out in people….you could just tell. My thoughts & prayers are with you all. I have lit a candle in his honor. I do know what all you all are going through as well as my dad died of lung cancer back in 2012.

Dear Renee and Lenny, I was so saddened when I heard about Clint. I am sorry you all had to go through this sad experience. It is a rough one. J-J and I will be praying for you to find comfort in the sweet fragrance of your wonderful memories you all have of Clint. May the painful ones fade and the good ones gain strength in your memory. If I can help, just let me know. I’m just down the street. Love to the family, Anne Fryar

There’s really no right words to say at a time like this. Ii didn’t know Clint personally but I can see that a lot of people I know knew him and spoke highly of him. I lost my father this year to the same cancer. But it took the death of Clint to make me want to get checked. It hit me hard because yesterday on the 24th I just turned 37 I thought I was good because I’m not in my 40’s. I’m deeply sorry for your loss, God bless. Sincerely

Clint, I may not have known you in person.. But you inspired me to become an amazing artist. You showed me that no matter how many times you fall, you can always get back up. You motivated me to open up my art, and to stay humble. Rest well, I know you’re in a better place now… Thank you for everything that you’ve done for your fans, friends, and family.

I know we lost touch over the years man. I remember the day we meet I came into Nemo’ s for a cover up by Greg you sat in the chair and watched him work. It was St. Patrick’s day 1999. You will be missed man. My deepest condolences to his family and Sparrows staff and friends. My only regret is that we lost touch.

To Clints family, my deepest love and condolences for your loss.
I knew him in a small way. When his Mansfield shop was open i stopped by to check out his art and to talk to the genius himself.
Nothing could have prepared me for the arduous journey that lay ahead when he posted about the cancer when he first posted about his go fund me page.
I am truly saddened by the loss of a true INKMASTER and fellow Mansfield Tiger.
I never got that tattoo id planned to get inked by him.
But in honor of him ill be getting a sparrow when the right time comes.
Sending Good Vibes and Love your way to the Cummings clan.

To my mentor; I don’t know what to say. You taught me so much not just about tattooing but about life. My heart hurts so bad right now. I looked up to you so much. I wish I could have seen you one more time. I’m happy you’re not hurting anymore, boss. every time I hear Pantera, I will think of you. My heart is very heavy for everyone you have left behind but I know you’re watching. Thank you for everything you’ve done, Clint. You’re always in my heart

Clint was an incredibly beautiful person. No one should go this early in life and a parent should never have to suffer the burial of their child. My prayers are with his family, friends and huge following. Clint did my tattoo actually after midnight the day his shop opened in Mansfield. He was patient, talented, creative, beyond an artist. The bright light and love the world has lost is beyond words and understanding if you have never met Clint.

Clint was an amazing person. He attended so several of our Tattoo convention, Tattoos By The Bay. He will be greatly missed we loved every minute he was there and also always was smiling. Every other convention we saw him at he always stopped to speak to us. Wr will miss his smile and always watching his tattooing getting every time tattooed anyone. Smile down on the rest of tattoo world and continue to be the Angel you were on earth as you are now in Heaven. You are greatly missed already fly high Clint fly high.
