
FORT WORTH-Don Truman Taylor passed away Monday, February 21, 2022 at the age of 64.
FUNERAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2022 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday (2 hours prior to service time) at the funeral home.
Don was born December 6, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Doris Truman and Oma Faye Foster Taylor. Don attended and graduated from Carter-Riverside High School, Class of 1976. He was a member of UAW Local 218. Don recently retired from Bell Helicopter after 27 years of service, where he worked in numerous departments. His previous employments were with Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and ATI. He loved NASCAR & IRL, camping, hunting and cruising. Of all his 21 cruises with his wife Carla, Alaska was his favorite. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 42 years, Carla Taylor; son, William Kirk Taylor and wife, Lynette; son, Clayton Truman Taylor; granddaughter, Katelynn Addington and husband, Ryan; granddaughter, Kamille Taylor; granddaughter, Kandace Taylor; granddaughter, Baylee Disney; grandson, Marcus Taylor; great grandson, Waylon Ferber; great granddaughter, Kimberlyn Currie; great grandson, Will Addington; great granddaughter, Layla Addington; great grandson #3 coming soon; sister, Colleen Dacy; brother, Ron Dacy; and many friends.
