Donald “Don” Robert Barnes

FORT WORTH — Donald “Don” Robert Barnes passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at the age of 66.
Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Cresson Cemetery.
Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.
Donald was born Sept. 7, 1950 in Fort Worth to Bobby and Maxine Barnes. A Vietnam Veteran, he proudly served his country in the US Army. Don was a long time member of the Texas Southwest Cattle Raisers Association. He was an air conditioning technician for Double Eagle Mechanical in Fort Worth for many years.
Don is preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Barnes and brother, Michael Barnes.
Survivors: Father, Bobby Barnes; niece, Cathryn Barnes and spouse, Dean Sledge; and many friends and co-workers.
