Edward Dean Morrison

MANSFIELD — Edward Dean Morrison, 52, of Mansfield passed away Monday, July 13, 2015, at his home.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Saturday at Compass Christian Church, 2600 Hall Johnson Road, Colleyville.
Dean was born July 27, 1962, in Artesia, N.M., to David Morrison and Florinda Orosco-Culpo. Dean was a loving father and husband and a very hard worker. He also was a baseball and golf enthusiast. We cannot forget to mention Dean’s ability to man a grill and turn out an incredible meal for those he loved or how he spent each winter perfecting his posole recipe.
Dean was preceded in death by his father, David Morrison, in 1999.
Survivors: Wife, Lona Morrison; stepson, Kelby of Mansfield; daughters, Stephanie Morrison of Dallas and Amanda Morrison of Denton; mother, Florinda Orosco-Culp and husband, Gary, of Springfield, Mo.; sister, Sandi Tatro of Glendale, Ariz.; sister, Teri Morrison of Coral Springs, Fla.; brother, Mark Morrison and his wife, Heather, of Selma, N.C.; and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
