JOSHUA-Geoff Amble passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 61.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Old Texas Brewing Co., Burleson, Texas.
Geoff was born Wednesday, September 16, 1959 in Waterloo, Iowa to the late Gilbert Karlton Amble Jr. and Joyce Horton Amble. Geoff graduated from Cedar Falls High School in Cedar Falls, Iowa. He worked in the hospitality industry for many years. He also sold cars, and most recently was a foreman for a construction company. Geoff loved to tinker in his garage and working on his Jeep. He enjoyed camping, playing cards, and was a connoisseur of craft beer. Geoff was a handy guy and often built furniture for his wife. Geoff was always up for having fun and going on adventures. He had tales of meeting Elvis to hijinks in Tahiti, he had fun stories from all his worldly travels. Although he was a Texas transplant, he never lost his Midwestern charm. His wit and jovial demeanor could win anyone over. Geoff embodied love and playfulness with those he held dear. He was a shoulder to lean on when needed, always fun, and genuinely cared about everyone. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was a wonderful husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend and will be missed.
Geoff is preceded in death by his parents; and father in law, George Searcy.

Some of the most exciting events in my boyhood years were the chances to commit some hijinks with Geoff and his sisters. Our visits were always over way too soon! That impish grin never changed, it seems. What a fun person and a bright light in the world! Thanks Geoff, you were like an oft-lost brother and I won’t ever forget you.

We never got the chance to meet I guess we always thought there was plenty of time to catch up one day, there was an Ocean between us but we were close because we were family. Our thoughts and memories are with all those loved ones Geoff leaves behind.
