FORT WORTH-George Louis Menchaca Jr. passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 45.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 11 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 9 to 11 a.m. Friday (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home.
George was born Saturday, September 6, 1975 to George and Sharon Menchaca in Fort Worth, Texas. George attended Glen Park Elementary, Forest Oak Middle School and O.D. Wyatt High School. He worked at Justin Boots, Walmart, Bargain Basket, Dillard’s and Chapman Construction. He loved antique cars, lowriders, thrift shopping, DVD’s, CD’s, shoe collections and working on his house. George loved rolling around (driving slow) in his ’65 Chevrolet Impala that he adored! He loved sleeping and his favorite drink was Sunkist. George also loved big beautiful women and his family was always a top priority to him. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be deeply missed.
George is preceded in death by sister, Christina Menchaca; grandparents, Billy Bob and Merlene Clark; and grandparents, Jose and Bertha Menchaca.
SURVIVORS: Parents, George Menchaca Sr. and Sharon Menchaca; son, Manuel Menchaca and spouse, Emilia Del Rio; daughter, Vanessa Delafuente; son, George Menchaca III; son, Mathew Menchaca; sister, Rebecca Menchaca and spouse, Oscar Saldana; brother, Daniel Menchaca; grandchildren, Nathan Sanchez, David Sanchez, Esmeralda Sanchez, Ruby Sanchez and Drako Menchaca; and numerous friends and family.
