Serpas Glenn Obituary

Glenn Anthony Serpas, Jr., 50, passed away on September 13, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas where he had been a long-time resident. He was born in Milton, Florida and resided in Terrytown, Louisiana as a child.

Glenn had many interests including playing the piano, saltwater aquariums, scuba diving, astronomy, hiking, hunting, boating and fishing. He was a lover of animals. His children were his beloved dogs, Rickey and Tapanga, both rescued Jack Russell Terrier Mix.
Glenn worked from an early age and worked for ECI Software Solutions for 26 years as a software developer, ultimately as Senior Developer.

Glenn was a loving, compassionate son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend to many, a real gentleman; he will be greatly missed.

Glenn is survived by Susan Schaefer, mother, Patrick Schaefer, stepfather, Jennifer Bonham, sister, Max Bonham, brother-in-law, Lorelei and Alexis Bonham, nieces, Mariette Tara, maternal grandmother, Ying Zhang, girlfriend, and aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased relatives include Glenn Serpas, Sr., father, Brian Serpas, brother, Mack Errington, maternal grandfather, August Serpas, paternal grandfather, Beulah Serpas, paternal grandmother.

Glenn was a Christian and attended North Fort Worth Baptist Church. A memorial service to celebrate Glenn’s life will be held on October 3, 2021, at 2:00pm.
