J. David Young (Crow)

FORT WORTH-J. David Young (Crow) passed away Monday, April 12, 2021.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Barfield Pavilion, Northfield Park, 7804 Davis Blvd., North Richland Hills, Texas.
David was born June 19, 1954 to the late James H. (Copper) and Iris Young in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Haltom High School in 1972. He attended Tarrant County Junior College and North Texas State University, where he studied music. He worked in sales and as a delivery driver since 1974 for various welding supply businesses, most recently for Airgas in Alvarado. David had a lifelong love of music. He played saxophone in high school and was recently learning to play bass guitar. He also loved to travel and frequently made trips to various locations in the southwestern United States. His favorite place to visit was Big Bend National Park. The highlight of his travels was seeing the 2017 solar eclipse in Tennessee. He was a loving brother and uncle who will be deeply missed.
David is preceded in death by his parents, step brother Ray Davis, and step brother-in-law Jim Doyle.
SURVIVORS: Sister Karen Day and husband Michael; step sister Donna Doyle; nephews Troy Day and wife Kathy, Paul Day and wife Andrea, Michael Doyle, Brian Doyle and wife Bessie; great nieces Juli and Harper Day; great nephews Weston, Jamin and Sawyer Day.
