
ABILENE-Jay PeeWee Miranda passed away Thursday, November 26, 2020 at the age of 45.
VISITATION: 12-4 p.m. Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Brown, Owens, and Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Jay was born Tuesday, July 8, 1975 to Mary Ann and Joe V. Miranda, Sr. in Fort Worth, Texas. Jay loved to grill and cook everything from breakfast omelets to BBQ for his family. He obtained his welding certification and worked for Smith Pipe as a welder. Jay loved so deep and strong. He had a joy that shined in his eyes and beamed from his teeth and big dimples. Jay was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
Jay is preceded in death by his father, Joe V. Miranda, Sr.; grandfather, Jimmy Hernandez, Sr.; grandmother, Aurora Hernandez; uncle, Arthur Campos; aunt, Juanita Briones; aunt, Linda Avala; and nephew, Diego Hernandez, Jr.
SURVIVORS: Wife of 21 years, Mariel C. Miranda; daughter, Marivel Miranda; daughter, Isabella Miranda; daughter, Syriana Miranda; grandson, Sebastian Gonzales; grandson, Malakai Gonzales; granddaughter, Amelia Gonzales; mother, Mary Ann Hernandez; brother, Joe Miranda, Jr.; Brother, Mario Miranda and wife, Ghazel and their children; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Morris, Jr. and Martha Hernandez; sister-in-law, Terri Hernandez and her children; sister-in-law, Mariqua Torres and husband, Homer and their children; brother-in-law, Aldolfo Hernandez; brother-in-law, Jasso Hernandez and his children; brother-in-law Diego Hernandez and his children; brother-in-law, Yom Yi “Chino” and wife Mary Jane Garcia.
