FORT WORTH-Jimmie Warren Hoffman passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at the age of 89.

Jimmie was born Thursday, January 1, 1931 to the late John Warren and Anna Mae (Gracie) Parrott Hoffman in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He attended Maud Oklahoma ISD from elementary, junior and high school and then attended the University of Oklahoma. Jimmie was married to his soul mate, Jenny L. Roberts Hoffman on June 4, 1954 and with that union they had five children and seven grandchildren. They just recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on June 4, 2020. He was in the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps-Oklahoma University Color Guard 1950 – 1952 and Panama Canal and Cuba Maneuvers – Summer of 1951. He was a member of AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association), Masonic Lodge, Rotary Club and Moose Lodge. Jimmie’s hobbies and interests included flying, refurbishing boats, watching westerns and his favorite was Gunsmoke, reading electrical and mechanical magazines and Louis L’Amour westerns. Jimmy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Maude Marie Wiler Roberts; sister-in-law, Joan Burton Hoffman; cousin, Doyle “Blue” Parrott; nephew, John Grady Hoffman; and great niece, Amanda.
Survivors: Wife of 66 years, Jenny Lou Roberts Hoffman; daughter, Jami Hoffman; sons, James Hoffman and wife, Tracy, Jeffery Hoffman, Jay Hoffman and wife, Mary, and Jerald Hoffman; brother, John Monroe Hoffman; grandsons, John Hoffman and fiance’, Kaitlyn, Christopher Hoffman, and Joshua Hoffman and fiance’, Cassie; granddaughters, Jessika Mathews and husband, Trent, Kaitlyn Hoffman, Julianne Hoffman and Elise Hoffman; nephew, Joe Hoffman; nieces, Jan and Julia Hoffman, Cyriese, Tammi and Angie Roberts; and many friends.
