Simply the best artist and man. We had great talks and he will be sorely missed. The only man I ever knew who sparred with Chuck Norris.

What an interesting guy and interesting life. Wished we would have had more time together. It just wasn’t meant to be. RIP dad.

Joe taught me how to shoot photos and work a scene as a reporter, and so much more beyond journalism. Condolences to his family and friends.

To the immediate family of Joe Cole: I am so saddened to learn of Joe’s passing. It is July 28th & I am just now finding out he passed in April! He was a wonderful art buddy & cousin to me through his mom’s family. We connected at the Weatherford Art Association & I taught him art lessons for a few years. He was so joyful & full of mischief to me. As we shared meals & art “talk,” it was my turn to pay for the next meal. I guess I’ll have to make that good in heaven. RIP my friend…You were so loved and appreciated
