John “J.C.” Ruelas

FORT WORTH — John “J.C.” Ruelas III passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 at the age of 49.
Memorial service: A memorial service will be held to celebrate J. C.’s life at 10 a.m. next Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at Hillside Community Church, 9915 Ray White Road, Keller, Tx. 76244. A reception will be held immediately after the service and the family requests that you bring potluck. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at the funeral home and is one week prior to the memorial service at the church.
J.C. was born January 15, 1967 to John and Rachel Ruelas in Placentia, California. J.C. loved fishing, floating on the river and all types of sports. He was a loving son, husband, father and faithful friend. J.C. will always be remembered for the love and devotion he held for his family, the extraordinary success story he represented as a father, the value he placed on his roots, and the love and tremendous appreciation he held for an endless number of friends.
Survivors: Wife of 21 years, Liz Kearney Ruelas; sons, Jack Ruelas and Sam Ruelas; parents,John and Rachel Dominguez Ruelas; nieces, Emily and Erin; nephew, John; three furry friends; and a multitude of special friends and family.
