John Michael Thomason

FORT WORTH, TEXAS – John Michael Thomason passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021 in Haltom City, Texas.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Inspiration Point located in Marion Sansom Park, Sansom Park, Texas.
John was born October 20, 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas to James Thomason and Madline Edgett. He enjoyed motorcycles, hiking at Inspiration Point and from time to time taking things that didn’t belong to him. John was known for being able to fix anything and he was also known for having a green thumb just like his grandmother. He always had a smile on his face for anyone he knew and he had an immense love for his children. He will be greatly missed by so many.
John was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Linda Hookings; paternal grandfather, John Hookings; maternal grandfather, Michael McKinney and maternal great-grandfather, Julian Boutin.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Harlee Thomason; son, John Thomason, Jr.; daughter, Preslee Edgett; daughter, Shanelynn Brown; mother, Madline Edgett and husband, Darren; father, James Thomason and wife, Sherri; brother, Andrew Thomason; sister, Chelsea Thomason and husband, Jordan Wilham; brother, Kaleb Thomason; sister, Rachel Granger; brother, Andrew Jones; honorary sister, Jessica Nowosatka; maternal great-grandmother, Rosa Boutin; maternal grandmother, Diane McKinney and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
