
FORT WORTH – Kimiko Bankhead passed way Friday, October 30, 2020 at the age of 52.
Celebration of life: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior the service at the funeral home.
Kimiko was born August 9, 1968 in Yokohama, Japan to Makoto and Yoshino Takahashi. She was a teacher at Zion Christian Academy and she loved teaching the Pre-K. In her spare time she enjoyed doing arts and crafts and Karaoke.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Makoto and Yoshino Takahashi.
Survivors: Loving Husband of 24 years, Christopher Bankhead; daughter, Kimberlee Bankhead; daughter, Christianna Bankhead; Sister-cousin, Mayumi Takahashi and husband, Nao; sister-in-law, Shambrica Bankhead; sister-in-law, LaWanda Bankhead; nephew, William Bankhead and nephew, James Mishoe.

Chris and shambrica and family I’m so very sorry I’m the loss of your – Chris your wife and shammy of your sister in law , I know you are hurting right now . My prayers are with you as you go thru the coming days , She’s not sad she’s not hurting any more she has a new body and is at the right hand of the father , and will be with you always in your hearts . I wish there was something I could say to make it better but there’s not it’s going to be times where all you do is cry and that’s ok so take time to grieve , prayers fit your family.
