FORT WORTH- Leona Pauline Foxworth Rodriguez passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at the age of 73.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Brown, Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Leona was born May 31, 1948 to the late Leo and Pauline Foxworth in Greenville, Alabama. She was a nurse who worked in pediatrics in her youth and then worked with geriatric patients up until her retirement in 2008. Leona was known for her generosity. She was always giving to others. She taught her children to be generous. She was truly one of the funniest people on earth. She was so much fun to be around. She was the life of the party, and had a natural way of making others laugh. Leona was a huge fan of Alabama Crimson Tide football. Roll Tide!! She was affectionately known as “Muffy” by her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
Leona was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Leona is preceded in death by her son, Yuri Andress Rodriguez; and her parents, Pauline and Leo Foxworth.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Holly Jane Letz and husband, Doug Letz; Grandchildren, Donovan “Keith” Heflin and wife, Hailey Heflin, Kevin Markus “K-man” Heflin and Brooke Waterman, Andrew “Kyle” Heflin, William “Cole” Heflin, Chyanna Cruz, Christian Anthony Rodriguez, Patrick Quincy Letz, Nicholas Andrew Letz and wife, Keeley Letz, Brittney Elizabeth Fenton and husband, DJ Fenton; Great-grandsons, Kaden James Heflin, Kory Wade Heflin, Koen Jaxon Heflin, Miles Andrew Letz, Max Cooper Letz, Cayden Alexander Cruz-Heflin, Cash William Heflin, Joseph Archie Fenton; Great-granddaughters, Kylie Marie Heflin, Audrey Elaine Heflin, Avery Cole Heflin, Addison Ri Heflin, Miley Nichole Santizo, Piper Michelle Letz; Siblings, Sandra Shepherd, Lawrence Foxworth and wife, Ramona, Nelle Short and husband, Butch, Cathy Babcock and husband, Rick; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews; and friends.
