FORT WORTH-Marco Antonio Rosas Sr. went to the big dance on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the age of 55.
Celebration of life: 10 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Arlington Heights United Methodist Church, 4200 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Marco never wanted anyone to be sad, so please do not dress sad when you attend his service.
Marco was born Saturday, May 16, 1964 in Mexico City to Daniel and Maria Del Refugio Salazar Rosas. Marco stayed involved in pee wee football for more than 20 years. He loved all types of vehicles and Motor Trend was his favorite channel on TV. He loved all sports teams from Houston, and any team that was playing against the Dallas Cowboys. Marco was able to beat dialysis for over 12 years, until he was called home for bigger and better things. He never stopped working even after he was diagnosed with end stage renal failure. His work ethics and drive is what helped keep his family going for those 12 years he was in treatment. Marco will be deeply missed by his family.

I was totally surprised when Marco’s obituary was posted on Aldine’s alumni page because I didn’t know he had passed. This breaks my heart to hear. He was always a sweetheart to me. Praying for the Rosas family on the loss of a great man. He is now at pain-free peace with the Lord.

It was sad to hear of Marcos’s passing in the Fallen Mustangs group. We got to hang out a couple times over the past few years and stayed in touch on Facebook. A good man who is missed greatly.
