Mildred “Millie” Joan Holloway

FORT WORTH — Mildred “Millie” Joan Holloway passed away peacefully surrounded by her daughters Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at the age of 85.
Celebration of life: 6 p.m. Monday in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with Pastor Greg Isbell officiating.
Mildred was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Veedersburg, Ind., to the late Vermont and Cora Hershberger. Millie was a devoted wife and mother and had an amazing ability to make friends with everyone who came in contact with her. She retired from Purdue University after 16 years of dedicated service. Millie was well known for her love of music.
She leaves behind a loving family so very grateful for her love and support. She will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
Millie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Pierce Holloway, and daughter, Cheryl Holloway.
Survivors: Daughter, Mickey Jonas and husband, Donald; daughter, Loretta Molina; grandson, Benjamin Molina Jr. and wife, Rebecca; stepgranddaughter, Kimberly Jonas; great-grandchildren, Bella and Elvis; and many friends.
