Nelda Marita Rodgers

FORT WORTH-Nelda Marita Rodgers, 85,beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother gladly went to be home in the presence of our Savior.
INTERMENT: Nelda will be laid to rest in Tool where she was born.
She married in September 1951 to her love, Will Lee Rodgers. They lived for 40 years in Garland before moving to Mineola, Texas to relax and retire in the country.
Nelda is preceded in death by infant daughter, Vicki Nell Rodgers; daughter-in-law, Suzanne Rodgers.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Will Rodgers; son, Daniel Lee Rodgers of Dike, Texas; daughter, Pamela Elliott and husband, Tobey of Arlington, Texas; grandchildren, Joshua Rodgers, Brandon (Ashley) Rodgers, Tia Rodgers, Jake (Mariah) Rodgers, Ashley (Zachary) Elliott-Luz and Haley Elliott; eight great grandchildren; brother, Donnie (Lisa) Avant; and a host of nieces and nephews and her very special cousins, Joy (Lester) Cumston, Juanita Grounds and Gail (JD) Parker.
