Alzine Everitt Munford

FORT WORTH — Alzine Everitt Munford passed away peacefully Saturday, July 6, 2013, at the age of 84.
Graveside service: Alzine will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Charles A. Munford Jr., at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane C. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Owens & Brumley Funeral Directors.
Alzine was born Aug. 27, 1928, to the late James Benjamin and Alzine Marshall Branch Everitt in Cheneyville, La. She graduated from Texas State College for Women. She had a B.A. degree and taught elementary school in Grand Prairie and specifically third grade.
Survivors: Son, James Benjamin Munford; daughter, Julia Alzine Munford; sisters, Virginia Norris and Jayme Goodwin; grandchildren, James Benjamin Rogers and Allison Jeanette Munford; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends.
