Arthur was affectionately known by many nicknames, including Pup, Archie, Moose, and Okie. Arthur was a proud US Army Veteran and served in the Korean War where he bravely recovered tanks damaged in battle. After the military, he was a painter by trade and worked all over the Boston area. He later retired and moved to Granbury, Texas with his high school sweetheart and lifelong companion, the late Ginny Canty of Hull, Massachusetts.
He will always be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor, and passion for reading and debate.
While Arthur never married or had any children of his own, he was always a loving uncle and grandfather figure to the children of the O’Connor, Streiferd, Loven, and Izzo families.
