Bernadeen (Bernie) Holland Tims-Scoggins

VENUS-Bernadeen (Bernie) Holland Tims-Scoggins passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the age of 64 in Venus, TX.

Bernadeen was born to the late Loran John and Noraha Holland in Champaign, Illinois. Bernie was a longtime member of the Abundant Life Church in Killeen, Texas. Her hobbies included crafting and making jewelry. She had more than 30 years of experience serving in the grocery industry working in the bakery and deli departments. Bernie was a skilled cake decorator and could design and create anything imagined. Her co-workers at H-E-B Waxahachie were her extended family. She loved music of all genres, especially the rocking oldies, and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchild were her joy in life.
Bernie is preceded in death by her parents, Loran and Noraha Holland; brother, Donald Holland; and brother, Robert (Bobby) Holland.
SURVIVORS: Bernie is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Daniel E. Scoggins; sister, Dawna Holland McClain and husband, Jim; sister in law, Clara Holland; sister in law, Julie Holland; son, Bishop David N. Scoggins and wife, Daneen; son, Jason D. Scoggins and wife, Ashlee; daughter, Samantha Tims and husband, Gary; grandsons, Christopher Scoggins and wife, Katelynn, Leland Tims-White, Cason Tims-White and Miles Scoggins; granddaughter, Sydnee Scoggins; great grandson, Isaiah Scoggins; and numerous friends.
