Bernice McAdoo

FORT WORTH-Bernice McAdoo passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the age of 93.
Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Trinity Terrace.
Bernice was born June 8, 1925 to the late Willie Lee and Yule’ Sloan Hughes in Durant, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker who loved to cook and sew for herself and her children. She developed a strong interest in Louisiana cuisine after they moved to Louisiana. She went to cooking classes and read numerous books on the subject. Bernice and Cecil were sponsors and strong supporters of the youth group in their church for many years. Bernice was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed.
Bernice is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cecil McAdoo who passed away on April 9, 2003.
Survivors: Daughter, Pamela Sullivan; granddaughter, Joann Summer; granddaughter, Jennifer Sullivan; great granddaughter, Karen Isacson; great grandson, Calvan “Bubba” Summer; great grandson, Forrest Summer; great granddaughter, Victoria Hernandez; great-great grandson, David Isacson; and many friends from Trinity Terrace.
