FORT WORTH — Betty Lou Averitt, 82 , was surrounded by her loving family when she went to be with the Lord Friday, Jan. 6, 2017.
Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: 1 p.m. at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Betty loved shopping, Westerns, Jimmy Swaggert, family gatherings and Christmas and she will be deeply missed by her loving family.
Betty was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Averitt Sr.; their son, Robert Averitt Jr.; parents, Donald and Mary Turner; and her sister, Jessie Peters.
Survivors: daughter, Kathy Woodard; son, Larry and wife Judy Averitt; daughter, Karen and husband Gary Beavers; grandchildren, Scott and Becky Hamilton, Misty and Jason Barnard, Brian Beavers, Wade and Kim Wilhite, Chris and Heather Beavers, Dustin and Olena Hammack and Ben Averitt; 10 great-grandchildren, Robert & Samantha Hamilton, Hunter, Karis and Josie Barnard, Waylon, Whitney and Wyatt Beavers, Kaitlyn and Kason Wilhite; two great-great-grandchildren, Lucas and Nathan Hamilton; brother, Don and wife Donna Turner; sister, Mary Dent; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
