Beverly was born July 17, 1940, in Breckenridge to the late James Clifton and Marjorie Rae Crowley. The family moved to Fort Worth where she married Bobby Lawson in 1956 and they had two children. As a single mom in 1968, she bought a home and raised her children while working at Three Way Dairy Supply for 23 years. She was married in 1989 to Phillip “Mutt” Oliver until his death in 2010. Beverly also worked at Williamson-Dickie in customer service until her retirement in 2006. She was always a helpful and friendly voice to anyone who called.
Beverly had the sweetest smile and a heart of gold. She cherished family and friends, and was incredibly grateful to all who helped her during a courageous battle with lung and bone cancer. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors: Son, Ricky Lawson; daughter, Debbie Lawson and husband, Greg Vanhoose; grandchild, Kayla Lawson Vanhoose; brother, Jim Crowley and wife, Cathy, her “sis”; father of her children, Bobby Lawson; and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
