FORT WORTH — Billie Donna Moore, 90, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016, surrounded by her family.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Floral Haven Cemetery, Broken Arrow, Okla. Visitation: 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home.
Billie Donna was a phenomenal musician and singer who inspired many people, including her daughter to teach music. She struggled all her life with a muscle disease, but she never once complained nor let it stop her. She was very strong in her faith, which inspired her eldest son into the ministry. Billie Donna lived her life like Proverbs 31 exemplifying the perfect role model and example of what a mother should be.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd Hubert Moore; parents, Neal and Georgia Sims; and her brother, Fillard Sims.
Survivors: Son, Ron Moore and wife, Bobi; son, Stephen Moore; daughter, Cheryl Moore; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Lynne Munro and husband, Dann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
