Bonita M. Harrod

FORT WORTH — Bonita M. Harrod passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the age of 72.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel at Brown, Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Bonita was born Jan. 17, 1943, in Muncie, Ind., to the late Harry and Irena Meadows.
She will be remembered for her love of God and Family.
Bonita was preceded in death by her parents; a son, R.D. Short; and brother, Leroy Meadows.
Survivors: Son, Michael Buckner and wife, Justine; daughters, Melissa Buckner and Jennifer Buckner; sister, Charlotte Michael; grandchildren, Larry Don and Michael Buckner, Candi Garner, Heather Parker, Michael and Savannah Miller, and Draven and Kalie Apichonrattanakorn; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and friends.
