GRAND PRAIRIE-Bruce Huntington Rogers passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020 at the age of 63.

Bruce was born Thursday, May 3, 1956 in Kingston, Frontenge, Canada to Douglas Herbert and Beverley Joan Huntington Rogers. Bruce attended LaSalle School, Canada; CMR… College Militaire Royal, RMC…Royal Military College, Sublieutenant, Canada, and graduated with honors in Chemical Engineer /Nuclear option; European Institute for Business (MBA); SMU-Law School-Magna Cum Laude, order of the Coif. He worked for Ray Chem Corporation, Scott Douglas, Cantey Hanger and Brown Dean Law.
Bruce always welcomed everyone in his home and heart. He loved cooking and entertaining. He was a doting and indulgent husband to his wife’s many animals and projects. A devoted father to his son, Ben and many Dobermans over the years. He was well known for his “Moosemilk” beverage served at the annual Christmas party. Bruce enjoyed traveling and working with Doberman Rescue of North Texas, which he co-founded with his wife, Julie. During their world travels and adventures, they made many friends in other countries as well and enjoyed visiting them.
Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Douglas Herbert Rogers.
Survivors: Wife of 38 years, Julia Munford; son, James Benjamin Rogers; mother, Beverley Rogers; sister, Gillian Haley (Rogers) and Robin Rogers; and his beloved dogs, Kenny and Katie.
