Charles Frederick Benson Jr.

FORT WORTH-Charles Frederick Benson Jr. passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at the age of 61.
Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2020 at Abundant Life Community Church, 2433 Sycamore School Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76123.
Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, August 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
Interment: Charles will be laid to rest in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
Charles was born Sunday, April 19, 1959 to Charles Frederick and Joyce Ann Upkins Benson in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a graduate of Polytechnic High School and he loved spending time with his family and capturing the big moments with his camera. Charles was the glue that held his family together. Charles loved sports. Especially, football and his Dallas Cowboys! He was their biggest cheerleader, even when they were losing. Charles was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Wife, Myrtle Craney Benson; children, Dana Williams, Kimberly Rose and Tiffany Ealey and husband, Ray; mother, Joyce Ann Benson; siblings, Denise Moore and husband, Leroy, Teresa Robinson and husband, Oscar, Edward Benson and David Phillips; grandchildren, Kameron, Khloe, Kennedi, Tierra, Lianna, Jaiden, Saniya, Trinity and Brennan; aunts, Marvinette Plummer, Clarice Coy, Frances Miller and Shirley Jackson; uncle, Michael Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
