Cindy K Bauer, beloved mother, grandma, sister and friend, departed from this world and was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on June 20, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on July 2, 1959, in Wichita Falls, Texas, Cindy was the cherished daughter of Dickie Don Wood and Carol Frank.
From a young age, Cindy exuded a passion for dance and a love for the outdoors. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School, where she laid the foundation for a life dedicated to family and service. Cindy married Richard Bauer Jr., and together they had two children, Angela Bauer and Richard Bauer III, who were the center of her world.
Professionally, Cindy found fulfillment as a painter, using her talents to assist others and make a positive impact in her community. Her empathy and kindness extended beyond her work, evident in her deep love for dogs and her unwavering support for Teen Challenge Fort Worth, where she found solace and strengthened her faith.
Cindy's journey was marked by challenges, but her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ transformed her life and inspired all who knew her. Her greatest joy was found in her role as a grandmother to Richard Bauer IV and Codi Bauer, and later as a great-grandmother to Zhyaire, Eliyanah, and Azaryia.
Preceded in death by her parents, Dickie Don Wood and Carol Frank, her brother Adam Frank, her niece Heidi Kunkel, her nephew Cameron Kunkel, her great niece Lennox Thomas, her grandparents, and several other cherished family members.
Cindy leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. She is survived by her children Angela Bauer of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Richard Bauer III of McKinney, Texas, sisters Stacy Rountree (Bruce) and Kim Kunkel (Mark), brother Bobby Brewer, daughter-in-law Mary Puga, beloved friend Garry Cooper, Quincy Gordon, grandchildren: Richard Bauer IV and Codi Bauer, and great-grandchildren: Zhyaire, Eliyanah, and Azaryia, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends who will deeply miss her presence.
