Clifton L. Hallmark

FORT WORTH — Clifton L. Hallmark passed away Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, at the age of 88.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Friday in Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Interment: Clifton will be laid to rest with his wife, Hazel, in Emerald Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Clifton was born March 9, 1925, to the late Daniel Clifton and Laura Ellen Hallmark in Bangs. Clifton proudly served our country by enlisting in the U.S. Air Force and was in World War II. He was a loving husband, father and “Papaw” to his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Clifton was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Hazel Hallmark; brothers, Lloyd Hallmark and Pete Hallmark; and sister, Christine Bunn.
Survivors: Son, Darrell Hallmark and wife, Diane; son, Duane Hallmark and wife, Kerry; grandchildren, Misty Oatway and husband, Steve, Darrell D. Hallmark and wife, Kendall, and Matthew Hallmark; great-grandchildren, Matthew Oatway, Brian Oatway, Katy Oatway, Colton Oatway and Hudson Hallmark; sister-in-law, Artie Ray; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
