Clifton Wayne Mauldin

August 1, 1953 — March 26, 2025

Clifton (Cliff) Wayne Mauldin passed away at his home on March 26, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loved ones. Cliff was born in Fort Worth, TX on August 1, 1953 to Ed and Virginia Mauldin and had one brother, Terry Mauldin all who preceded him in death.

He married his wife of 51 years, Connie Smith Mauldin, in Fort Worth, TX on October 6, 1973. Cliff loved music, camping and collected all types of various items. He loved people and never met a stranger. Cliff graduated from Brewer High School in White Settlement, TX in 1972. He was a proud Brewer Bear and was president of the band and senior class favorite. He had recently reconnected with some of those classmates, which brought him much joy.

Cliff is survived by his wife Connie, daughter Melissa (Missy) Mauldin and daughter in law Melissa Anderson. He has two grandchildren, whom he adored, Ashley Lopez, 15 and Austin Anderson, 5. He is also survived by father in law and mother in law Charles and Sharon Smith, brothers and sisters in law, CJ & Sylvia Smith and Gerry and Jeanine Smith and multiple nieces and nephews. His beloved mother in law, Sue Palmer, also preceded him in death.

We will all miss his gentle, kind spirit and goofy jokes, but are glad he is no longer in pain and know we will see him again and rejoice in that glorious reunion. A celebration of Cliff's life will be held at a later date.
