Mansfield-David C. Brown passed away peacefully with his wife of 24 years by his side on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the age of 75.
David was born Friday, August 13, 1948 to the late Frank and Elizabeth Brown in Avalon, Pennsylvania. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Navy and served a combat-heavy tour of duty during the Vietnam War. David graduated from East Point with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. He enjoyed cooking & making meals for his family. He shared his passion for cooking with his grandchildren and making delicious meals and desserts. His joy in life was spending time with them and would be their loudest cheerleader at their games. He would take them on trips to QT and spoil them with treats. David never met a stranger & would talk to anyone he met. David was a master at woodworking and made many pieces of furniture for their home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be deeply missed by us all.
Survivors: Wife, Donna Brown; son, Brian Brown; daughter, Beth Crews and spouse, Doug; daughter, Kristin Alvarado and spouse, Homero; son, Marc Evans and spouse, Val; son, Tyler Evans and spouse, Lynne; 10 grandchildren, Gabriel, Nicholas, Sofia, McKenzie, Maddox, Micah, Maggie, Johnny, Akilis and Yino; and numerous friends.
