David Micheal Caputo age 55 of Fort Worth Texas passed away at home on May 12th, 2024
surrounded by his family.
David was born October 9th, 1968, to Katherine Keadle and Michael Caputo in Washington DC. He
has 3 siblings Chris Caputo, Paul Flores, and Dominic Caputo.
David met his best friend Tamara in California; they then married in June 1987 in Missouri. After
having two of their three children, he joined the United States Navy and served a 4-year term living in
California. When he returned to being a civilian, they moved to Georgia, where he worked in the
cable industry as a lineman. His career then took him to Texas where he developed and valued his
colleagues which became friendships he admired. David gave nearly 30 years to the
telecommunications industry.
A brilliant mind allowed David to enjoy many things in his lifetime. He had a love for numbers like
baseball stats when he was young. He loved football and Nascar. Heavy Metal Music was his jam
often taking Shiprocked Cruises with family and friends. He enjoyed drawing portraits and
considered himself an impressionist. He spent hours with his Nascar racing simulator and
countless hours watching movies of all genres, from the Passion of Christ to Pulpfiction.
David loved his family. He was a loving husband, doting father and grandfather. One of his favorite
things to do was take his family to Disney World. Nothing gave him more joy than watching his
granddaughter Helena light up at the big castle.
David will be greatly missed by his family. His wife Tamara, daughter Ashley Gunter and husband
Ray of Hurst Tx, daughter Alicia Caputo of Fort Worth Tx, son Nick Caputo and wife Meghan of Fort
Worth Tx, apple of his eye granddaughter Helena Gunter, his mother Katherine Keadle, brothers
Chris Caputo, Paul Flores, and Dominic Caputo, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and saving the
best for last Nifflers his fur baby that never left his side.
David is preceded in death by his father Michael Caputo.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at Brown Owens & Brumley Funeral Home at 425 South
Henderson Street Fort Worth Tx 76104, Monday May 20th with visitation at 12:00 noon and service
to follow at 1:00 pm. David is a casual jean and t-shirts man loving his Shiprocked and heavy metal
bands. The family has requested we honor him by wearing casual attire, jeans and t-shirts come
comfy as we celebrate a life well lived.
