David Martin “Dave” Ward (1940 – 2012)

David “Dave” Martin Ward, 72, a very loving husband, father and grandfather, left this world peacefully on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, with his loving family by his side as he always wanted them to be, after a long battle with cancer. Graveside service: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at Brown, Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. David was born Jan. 10, 1940, in Rio Grande City. He married the love of his life, Eileen Sue Edwin, on Jan. 23, 1965. David was loved by many and will be missed; his memory will live on through those who knew him best. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelley Lee Ward.
