Deborah Kay Tomlinson

Deborah Kay Tomlinson was taken to her heavenly home in the loving arms of Jesus on April 22, 2022 at the age of 60. Debbi was a beautiful Christian who sought daily the heart of Jesus. Her heart was full of love, compassion, tenderness, and generosity. Debbi was born to Donald and Peggy Norris on April 11, 1962. Debbi grew up in Dallas and met Clark at an aircraft parts plant. Together they raised their sons Randy and Kyle. They have called Burleson home since their sons were still quite young. Debbi was ‘Gee’ to her grandchildren and was able to retire from working when Emily was born. Debbi loved going to the beach and dipped her toes in the saltwater at many places along the Texas coast as well as Florida and California. Debbi loved to cook for her family, decorate her home, and work 1000-piece puzzles while watching her favorite TV shows. Debbi was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be deeply missed.
Debbi was preceded in death by her father, Donald Norris; and father-in-law, Ray Tomlinson.
Debbi is survived by her husband of 42 years, Clark; son, Randy Tomlinson and wife, Melissa; son, Kyle Tomlinson; grandchildren, Emily, Wyatt, Seth, and Christian; mother, Peggy Norris; mother-in-law, Charlotte Tomlinson; sisters, Denise Soria and Joyce Haines; brother, Donnie Norris; sister-in-law, Sheryl Zimmerman and husband, Mike; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and friends.
We are Thankful to all family and friends for their outpouring of love, support, and prayers during this time. We are Thankful for the OR staff, CVCCU staff, and Chaplains at Texas Health Huguley and the staff at Community Hospice. Their care and compassion were beyond measure. God Bless.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Debbi’s memory to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society of North Texas.
Memorial Service will be held at Brown Owen and Brumley’s Funeral home in Ft. Worth, 425 South Henderson, Ft. Worth, Tx. 76104, on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10 A.M.
