Deborah Lynne Vandeventer was born December 20th, 1966 in Kaufman, Texas. She passed away peacefully at her residence in Fort Worth on April 7th, 2025.

Debbie was a beloved daughter of Jim Call and Lynne Burns, and grew up in Albuquerque, NM and Northwest Arkansas with her brothers and sister. After graduating from Springdale High School, Debbie became a licensed beautician and was a hair stylist for many years. She was active in the Pentecostal church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Surviving family members include Debbie’s children, Alex Marlatt, Aaron Hepponstall, and Chaz Cormier; her mother, Lynne Burns; father and stepmother, Jim and Therésé Call; her brothers, James Call, David Call, Danny Call, Vincent Call, Anson Call, John Call, and sister, Theresa Pearson; her siblings’ spouses and children, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Rick Vandeventer and her stepfather, Ray Burns.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2025 at First Baptist Church of Denton, 1100 Malone Street, Denton, TX, 76201.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the MHMR Foundation of Tarrant County are welcome.
