Delia Alonso Salinas

FORT WORTH-Delia Alonso Salinas passed away Friday, April 23rd, 2021 after a brave 6 year battle with cancer.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Delia was born in Ciudad Acuna, Coahila Mexico to Carlos and Maria Elena Alonso. She came to the U.S. with her family in 1967 and resided in Chicago before moving to Texas in 1971. Over the years, Delia enjoyed collecting antiques, coins, baseball cards, and vintage jewelry. Gardening was also a passion of hers. Her two grandchildren were her pride and joy.
SURVIVORS: Delia Alonso Salinas is survived by her mother, Maria Elena Alonso; daughter, Vanessa Hernandez and husband, Paul; grandchildren, Lilah and Ames; sister, Juana Bermejo and husband, Rick; brother, Hector Alonso; and various nieces and nephews.
