FORT WORTH-Dewayne T. Humphrey passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the age of 73.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 31, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 9 to 10:30 a.m. (1 ½ hours prior to service time)Friday, December 31, 2021 at the funeral home.
INTERMENT: Dewayne will be laid to rest at 1 p.m. in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Dewayne was born Sunday, July 25, 1948 in Enid, Oklahoma to the late Lloyd and Helen Pemberton Humphrey. He attended and graduated from Kiowa Kansas School in Kansas. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army and received the Army Commendation Medal. He also toured in the Vietnam War from November 1968 to 1969. Dewayne was a member of Brotherhood of Railroad Signal Man and Pekin Illinois Masonic Lodge. He loved fishing and hunting but most of all, he loved his family and will be deeply missed.
SURVIVORS: Loving wife of 50 years, Jeanette Humphrey; son, Brad Humphrey; son, Chad Humphrey; granddaughter, Alexis Humphrey Poe; great grandson, Easton Silas O’Canna; brother, Orie Humphrey and wife, Wilma; and numerous friends.
