This is the last tribute to a man that was born with a handicap, by today’s standards, but he didn’t know that he was supposed to be less than any other person and proved it every day.
DeWayne “Uncle” Edward Alley made his way into this world on August 8, 1964 in Fort Worth, TX and the Angels of God picked him up and carried him home on January 5, 2021 from Decatur, TX. His life was taken due to complications of the Covid 19 virus.
He was a Christian and we know that when he arrived in heaven there was a joyous celebration with his grandparents, Ernest and Lorein McCreary, his mother, Bobbie Jean Osborn and his dad, Lonnie Alley.
The people left behind to mourn his absence are his brother Tommy Alley, his uncle Billy McCreary and wife Peggy, Nicole Alley, niece, his nephew Marti Scroggins and partner Courtni Quicksail and all of his great nephews, Weston, Waylon and Wyatt Scroggins and Camden Quicksail.
His favorite times were when he was fishing with his great nephews and his very best friend, Michael James.
The following is a quote from his nephew Marti Scroggins and pretty sums it up for all of his loved ones.
“We loved him very much and will always miss him.
He brightened our world every day.”
