FORT WORTH-Diana Velez, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 5, 2019 at the age of 46.
Memorial service: 3 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel. Visitation: Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Diana was a Christian, loving woman, mother of 4 beloved children, wife of 15 years, sister and daughter. She loved to be around loved ones, family and friends. She made many memories and left her imprint on many for the grand, wonderful and strong minded woman she was. From memorable cookouts, birthday parties, and going to bingo, she loved to laugh and make people laugh. She loved dancing, bingo, being around friends and family. Other things she devoted time to and enjoyed were cooking, watching UFC and boxing, doing hair and was part of the Cosmetology Program in high School, She graduated from North Side High School in 1991 and spent many years as an ER receptionist for Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth.
Diana is preceded in death by her parents, Carlos Jimenez Sr. and Sara Estela Martinez Jimenez.
Survivors: Husband of 15 years, Vicente Velez Sr.; son, Reynaldo A. Robledo; daughters, Miranda N. Velez and Carla A Velez; son, Vicente Velez Jr.; brothers, Carlos Jiminez Jr. and Victor R. Jiminez; sister, Norma Jiminez; brothers, Rolando Jiminez and Rene Jiminez; many extended family members and friends.
