Dominique Saralyn Smith

Dominique Smith, 35, passed away on Saturday, August 17th in Crowley, Texas. Born on June 19, 1989 in Abilene, TX to Ronald Lamont Smith and Alesia Mae Dorsey. Dominique graduated from Crowley High School in 2006 and later that year welcomed her only child, Amani. For the next 16 years Dominique would spend her life raising her daughter with her life partner, Brice Broadnax; eventually marrying on January 21, 2021. In her 35 years, Dominique strived to be the hardest working person in the room. That work ethic helped her accomplish a huge personal goal when she went to work for BNSF Railway in 2022.

Dominique leaves behind a wife, Brice Broadnax, daughter Amani Bell, brother Antoine Brailsford (Ashley) and a host of family, friends, and co-workers. Dominique is preceded in death by her mother, Alesia Brailsford, grandmother Jean Jones and Elizabeth Moody, aunt.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
