Don Larry Bergeron

Don"Granddaddy" Bergeron, age 83, passed away on April 19, 2023.

Don was born in Metairie, LA. to Berlin Bergeron and Dorthy Bergeron. Don married Judy Funk of Columbus, Ohio on September 1, 1961 in St. Mary's West Virginia.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife of 53 years, Judy Bergeron, father Berlin Bergeron, and mother Dorthy Bergeron.

He is survived by his daughter Debbie Phillips and husband Bobby, His son Donald Bergeron and wife Lisa, His grandchildren Ryan Phillips and wife Jacque, Josh Phillips and Brenda Bergeron, His great grandchildren Katy Phillips, Paisley Bergeron, and Christopher Phillips, His Brother Carl Bergeron and wife Brenda, His sister Sheron Phillips and husband Glenn, nieces and nephew, great nieces and nephews and Friends.

Don served in the Air force. He was a Free Mason. He was a member of El Texa Grotto. He worked as a union electrician until his retirement at age 62. He and Judy helped start a camping club which they were active members in for many years. He and Judy loved to travel and visited many of the 50 states traveling in a motor-home. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. Family was the most important thing in his life and he would do anything for any of them.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Tuesday April 25,2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Brown, Owens, & Brumley Family Funeral Home 425 South Henderson Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76104.

Services for Don Bergeron will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00am at Brown, Owens, & Brumley Family Funeral Home 425 South HendersonStreet, Fort Worth, Texas 76104 with Don's nephew, Rodney Bergeron, officiating. Burial will follow later at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
